About Trusted Health Gear
Trusted Health Gear reviews Amazon-available supplements on a public 6-metric rubric. Our goal is simple: give people researching daily-wellness products enough information, cited clearly, to make a good decision without needing a chemistry degree or a TikTok account.
Our promise
- Every product is scored on the same 6-metric rubric. Third-party testing, bioavailability, clinical evidence, value, brand transparency, and form & absorption — each 0-10, published per product. No secret weighting. Read the rubric →
- No brand pay-for-rank. We're Amazon affiliates only. Brand payments, sponsorships, or "pay to be reviewed" offers are turned down — always. Amazon commission rates do not influence our rankings. Full affiliate disclosure →
- Every claim is cited. Health content is YMYL territory — "Your Money or Your Life" in Google's quality rater terminology, meaning mistakes have real consequences. Every health claim on this site links to the source study, not a secondary article.
- Quarterly re-verification with a public changelog. Products change formulations, get discontinued, or drop their testing standards. We re-verify every ranking each quarter and timestamp the updates.
What we don't do
We don't make medical claims. We don't tell you what supplement will cure your condition — that's a doctor's conversation. We don't publish "fear + miracle" content or stock-photo "doctor recommendations." We don't recommend doses for specific medical conditions; published research dosing is cited, and specific personal protocols are between you and your healthcare provider.
We also don't invent testimonials. Every review on this site reflects editorial judgment, not user-submitted reviews — and if we ever add a testimonials section, those testimonials will be verifiable.
Who writes this site
Trusted Health Gear is authored by the Trusted Health Gear editorial team. At launch, we do not have an in-house medical reviewer; we've scoped our initial content accordingly — factual product attributes, published research summaries, and comparisons, rather than personalized medical guidance. As we grow, adding a bylined RD or MD to our editorial process is a priority.

How we're funded
This site is supported entirely by Amazon Associate affiliate commissions. When you click an Amazon link on our site and make a purchase, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Commission rates vary by product category but are set by Amazon — not by us, and not by product brands. A higher commission rate doesn't make a product rank higher in our reviews. A lower commission rate doesn't get a product excluded.
